Hoy se han dado a conocer las nominaciones de la 35º edición de los London Film Critics’ Circle Awards, los premios que otorga el Círculo de Críticos de Londres. Las aclamadas Mr. Turner de Mike Leigh, y Birdman de Alejandro González Iñárritu lideran las candidaturas con siete y seis nominaciones respectivamente.
Las siguen de cerca Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Theory of Everything y Under Skin. A esta altura, y por como viene la mano en las distintas asociaciones de críticos y premios de la industria, no será difícil aventurar qué largometrajes serán los nominados al Oscar.
Caso similar se da en las ternas actorales en las que nuevamente vemos a Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne, Timothy Spall, Michael Keaton y Jake Gyllenhaal entre los candidatos a Mejor Actor. La sorpresa viene por el lado femenino en el que Julianne Moore obtuvo doble nominación por sus actuaciones en Still Alice y Maps to the Stars de David Cronenberg. A ella se suman Marion Cotillard, Scarlett Johansson y Essie Davis.
