En el día de hoy se dieron a conocer las nominaciones de los Emmy 2013. Si bien este año no hubo muchas sorpresas, sí se dio alguna que otra novedad. La primera viene de la mano de House of Cards, la serie original de Netflix que se ha convertido en la primera serie de Internet nominada a los Emmy, con 9 candidaturas, incluyendo Mejor Serie Dramática, Kevin Spacey como Mejor Actor, Robin Wright como Mejor Actriz y David Fincher como Mejor Director. Por otro lado, en las categorías actorales, la sorpresa viene con algunos nombres nuevos, como el caso de Emilia Clarke nominada a Mejor Actriz de Reparto en Drama, o Vera Farmiga por Bates Motel, como Mejor Actriz en Drama.
Una vez más American Horror Story se impuso con 17 nominaciones, seguida por Game of Thrones con 16. Por su parte la serie dramática Mad Men logró 6 candidaturas, la mayoría en las categorías actorales, seguida por Homeland con 5, y Breaking Bad y Downton Abbey con 4.
En cuanto el rubro comedia, Modern Family y The Big Bang Theory se van a disputar el título a mejor comedia junto a Louie, Girls, 30 Rocks y Veep.
Los ganadores serán dados a conocer el 22 de septiembre en una ceremonia presentada por Neil Patrick Harris.
