Guillermo del Toro triunfa en los Directors Guild of America Awards

Anoche se llevó a cabo la ceremonia de entrega de los Directors Guild of America Awards, los premios que reconocen la mejor labor de dirección en largometrajes.

Como era de esperar, el mexicano Guillermo del Toro se quedó con el premio principal a Mejor Director por The Shape or Water. Lo que lo deja posicionado como el candidato favorito a ganar el Oscar en la misma categoría.

Pero la película de fantasía no fue la única ganadora de la noche. El director Jordan Peele también fue reconocido por Mejor Dirección Novel, por su película Get Out.
