A tan solo horas de conocer las nominaciones a los Premios Oscar, y los ganadores de los Screen Actors Guild, el gremio de productores anunció los ganadores de los Producers Guild Awards.
La cinta de fantasía de Guillermo del Toro, The Shape of Water, se llevó los máximos honores al recibir el premio de Mejor Película. Por el lado de Mejor Película Anima, Coco sigue arrasando con todo a su paso.
Aunque este galardón no es sinónimo de Oscar, demuestra que la película de Del Toro tiene grandes posibilidades de alzarse con el premio de la Academia.
