Anoche se entregaron los premios Emmy Awards conducidos por Stephen Colbert. Tal como habíamos anticipado, este fue un año emocionante para la pantalla chica. Con grandes producciones, historias atrapantes y excelentes actuaciones.
La gran ganadora de la noche fue The Handmaid’s Tale, la adaptación de la distopia de Margaret Atwood. La serie se impusó frente al resto de los shows, triunfando en la categoría a Mejor Drama, Mejor Actriz para su protagonista Elizabeth Moss, así como para Ann Dowd y Alexis Bledel, entre otros.
Otra de las favoritas de la noche fue Big Little Lies. La miniserie de HBO también se arrasó en sus ternas, logrando el premio a Mejor Miniserie, Mejor Actriz para Nicole Kidman, y Mejor Actor de Reparto para Alexander Skarsgard, entre otros.
La buena sorpresa de la noche fue Black Mirror, la fantástica creación de Charlie Rooker que ganó en el rubro a Mejor TV Movie con el episodio San Junipero, uno de los mejores de la tercera temporada.
Por el lado de comedia, las series Veep y Atlanta se coronaron como las grandes triunfadoras de la noche. La actriz Julia Louis-Dreyfus se quedó con el premio a Mejor Actriz en Comedia por sexto año consecutivo. Mientras que Donald Glover, se hizo con varios galardones, incluido el de Mejor Actor por Atlanta.
