En los últimos días los críticos han estado haciendo sus elecciones y emitiendo sus veredictos sobre las mejores películas y series del año. Ahora le toca a los mismísimos protagonistas de decir qué ha sido lo mejor del año.
En el día de ayer se conocieron las nominaciones a los SAG Awards, también conocido como los Screen Actors Guild, los premios otorgados por el sindicato de actores que reconoce las mejores interpretaciones del año.
Hasta el momento hemos visto que las películas La La Land, Moonlight y Manchester by the Sea son las favoritas. Sin embargo, los SAG se han desviado un poco de ese camino, ya que el musical de Damien Chazelle, quedó fuera de la categoría Mejor Reparto, lo que equivale a una mención a Mejor Película. En su lugar, los actores se decantaron por las dos cintas ya mencionadas, junto a Fences, Hidden Figures, y el drama indie Captain Fantastic.
Por el lado de las actuaciones no hubo muchas sorpresas. Tal vez sean más sorpresivas las ausencias, como por ejemplo, la de Isabelle Huppert (Elle) o Anette Bening (20th Century Women). Por otro lado, Emily Blunt logró entrar en la terna por su actuación en The Girl on the Train.
Respecto a la pantalla chica definitivamente no hay sorpresas. Al parecer los actores y los críticos están de acuerdo en que las mejores series del año han sido Game of Thrones, Westworld, The Crown, Stranger Things y Dawnton Abbey.
La ceremonia de premiación se llevará a cabo el 29 de enero. A continuación la lista con todos los nominados:
