Todos los ganadores de los Oscars 2016

Anoche el Dolby Theatre se vistió de gala para albergar la 88° edición de los Premios Oscars, el máximo galardón de Hollywood que reconoce lo mejor del séptimo arte. La ceremonia estuvo conducida por el actor y comediante Chris Rock, quien no perdió tiempo en hacer referencia al gran problema de diversidad que aqueja a la industria cinematográfica. Tanto es así, que hasta se volvió más que reiterativo a lo largo del show.

Con una presentación que superó las 3 horas de duración, la película Spotlight se consagró con el Oscar a Mejor Película. Si bien era una de las favoritas a quedarse con el reconocimiento, gran parte de los votos estaban puestos en The Revenant. Sin embargo, su director, el mexicano Alejandro González Iñárritu, logró quedarse por segundo año consecutivo con el premio a Mejor Director. Por su parte, Emmanuel Lubezki, el director de fotografía de la película, hizo historia al ganar su tercer Oscar consecutivo.

En las ternas de actuación. Brie Larson fue nombrada la Mejor Actriz por su excelente interpretación en Room. Y Leonardo DiCaprio finalmente se llevó el Oscar a Mejor Actor por su rol en The Revenant, premio que la Academia le venía negando desde hace tiempo.

La actriz sueca Alicia Vikander, injustamente nominada en la categoría de reparto, se quedó con la estatuilla por su gran actuación en The Danish Girl, venciendo a Kate Winslet (Steve Jobs), otra de las grandes favoritas de la noche. La otra sorpresa en la categoría de reparto la dio Mark Rylance, quien resultó el ganador por su actuación en Bridge of Spies de Steven Spielberg.

Mad Max: Fury Road, la película de George Miller, arrasó en la mayoría de las categorías técnicas (6 estatuillas), incluido Vestuario, Maquillaje, Diseño de Producción, Montaje y Sonido. La otra gran sorpresa de la noche la dio Ex Machina, el thriller sci-fi de Alex Garland, que se quedó con el galardón a Mejores Efectos Visuales.

El Oscar a Mejor Guión Original fue para Spotlight, el drama periodístico dirigido por Tom McCarthy. Mientras que The Big Short, dirigida por Adam McKay, se quedó con el Oscar a Mejor Guión Adaptado.

Sin sorpresa alguna, la cinta animada Inside Out (Intensamente) de Pixar, se quedó con el Oscar a Mejor Película Animada. Similar fue el caso de Son of Saul, la película húngara de Lazlo Nemes, que se llevó el galardón a Mejor Película Extranjera.
