‘The Revenant’ encabeza la lista de los nominados a los Oscar 2016

Hace tan solo instantes, en vivo desde Los Ángeles, California, la presidente de la Academia Cheryl Boone Isaacs, el actor John Krasinski, y los directores Guillermo del Toro y Ang Lee dieron a conocer a los nominados a los Premios Oscar 2016.

Tal como se había anticipado, el western épico del mexicano Alejandro González Iñárritu, The Revenant, se impuso entre los miembros de la Academia al recibir 12 nominaciones, incluyendo Mejor Película, Mejor Director, Mejor Actor para Leonardo DiCaprio y Mejor Actor de Reparto para Tom Hardy.

La siguen de cerca el tanque de la carretera Mad Max: Fury Road con 10 candidaturas. Y no solo logró colarse en la categoría de Mejor Película, sino que también colocó a su director George Miller entre los nominados a Mejor Director. La película The Martian de Ridley Scott tampoco se quedó fuera de la carrera, logrando 7 nominaciones en varias de las categorías principales.

El drama Carol del director Todd Haynes, que era una de las favoritas, se quedó con 6 nominaciones y fuera de la lista de Mejor Película. En tanto, el thriller de investigación Spotlight y la cinta Bridge of Spies de Steven Spielberg, quedaron entre las nominadas a Mejor Película.

La entrega de premios de la 88° edición de los Oscar se llevará a cabo el domingo 28 de febrero en una ceremonia en vivo conducida por Chris Rock. A continuación la lista con todos los nominados:
