La temporada de premiaciones ya está cada vez más cerca. En el día de ayer se anunciaron las nominaciones de los SAG Awards del Sindicato de Actores, y hoy fue el turno de los Golden Globes, los galardones que otorga la Asociación Extranjera de Prensa de Hollywood.
Considerados la antesala del Oscar, estos premios reconocen los mejor del cine y la televisión en las distintas categorías de drama y comedia. Por el lado de la pantalla grande, el drama Carol, dirigido por Todd Haynes lidera con 5 nominaciones. Seguida por lo nuevo de Alejandro González Iñárritu, The Revenant (El Renacido) y The Big Short (La Gran Apuesta), con 4 candidaturas. El film taquillero Mad Max: Fury Road de George Miller logra meterse en las categorías de Mejor Película, Mejor Director y Mejor Banda Sonora.
Esta podría ser la oportunidad de Leonardo DiCaprio de finalmente llevarse toda la gloria que desde hace años se merece. Esta vez por su actuación en The Revenant. La actriz sueca Alicia Vikander logra 2 nominaciones por sus grandes actuaciones en el drama The Danish Girl y el thriller Ex Machina.
Por el lado de la pantalla chica, las principales plataformas on demand de servicios streaming como Netflix, Amazon y Hulu, se llevan el mayor número de candidaturas. Junto a los canales de cable HBO, Starz y Showtime. A pesar de haber coincidencias con años anteriores en varios nombres y títulos, sorprende en reconocimiento de series como Mr. Robot y sus protagonistas, y Outlander, también para algunos de sus protagonistas.
La 73ª edición de los Globos de Oro se llevará a cabo el domingo 10 de enero en una ceremonia conducida por el actor y comediante Ricky Gervais. A continuación la lista con todos los nominados:
