Esta mañana la Academia de Televisión ha anunciado las candidaturas de los Emmy Awards 2015, los premios que reconocen lo mejor en la pantalla chica. El anuncio estuvo a cargo de la ganadora del Emmy, Uzo Aduba de Orange is the New Black, y la conductora de So You Think You Can Dance, Cat Deeley.
Game of Thrones, la aclamada serie de HBO, encabeza la lista con 24 nominaciones. Este año la categoría de drama cuenta con la gran ausencia de Breaking Bad, que acaparó las principales categorías de los últimos años. En su adios final, Mad Men ha acaparado unas cuantas nominaciones, y en su segundo año consecutivo, la serie original de Amazon, Transparent vuelve a tener una fuerte presencia entre los nominados.
La 67ª edición de los premios tendrá lugar el 20 de septiembre en el Teatro Microsoft de Los Ángeles, y contará con la presencia del actor Andy Samberg como anfitrión de la velada.
