Anoche se entregaron los premios MTV Movie Awards, conducidos por la actriz Amy Schumers, donde los fans votaron sus películas y actores favoritos del año. En este caso, del año pasado.
En esta ocasión las favoritas fueron The Fault in Our Stars (Bajo la Misma Estrella), que se llevó el premio a Mejor Película, Mejor Beso, y Mejor Actriz para Shailene Woodley. Por otro lado, la comedia Neighbors, protagonizada por Seth Roguen y Zac Efron, también se quedó con algunos reconocimientos.
En esta edición, Robert Downey Jr. fue homenajeado con el premio Generación MTV, por su larga trayectoria en la pantalla grande. Shailene Woodley recibió el MTV Trailblazer, un premio otorgado a actores y actrices jóvenes que han inspirado a otros con su trabajo, más allá de su reputación como figura pública. Y el actor Kevin Hart fue reconocido como Genio de la Comedia.
