Hace unos días se dieron a conocer las nominaciones de las 30ª edición de los Independent Spirit Awards, los premios más importantes del cine independiente norteamericano. Como era de esperar, Birdman y Boyhood lideran las nominaciones con seis y cinco candidaturas, respectivamente. Junto a ellas también se encuentran las aclamadas Nightcrawler y Selma, ambas con cinco nominaciones.
La gran ausente fue The Imitation Game, la cinta de Mortem Tyldum, protagonizada por Benedict Cumberbatch. Parece que este año los Spirit le han dado la espalda a The Weinstein Company.
